About the team 

Enterprise Change forms part of the Enterprise Strategy team, and this role reports to the Manager, Enterprise Change. The functions ensures that organisational changes are smoothly implemented and sustained. The Change team was established to provide change management expertise across projects and initiatives, and to lead the work to grow change capability across the Guardians. 

 

About the position 

As Change Manager, you will:  

  • Lead change management activities across enterprise projects and initiatives to ensure successful delivery of change. 
  • Analyse, plan, implement, and evaluate change strategies for in-scope projects and initiatives. 
  • Facilitate a collaborative approach to change, building ownership and capability in change leadership among project stakeholders. 
  • Use the Guardians Enterprise Change Framework to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance. 
  • Identify and manage risks to change adoption, including anticipated resistance, and prepare risk mitigation plans. 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, engagement, and expectations. 
  • Support change management at the programme and enterprise level to reduce the impact of multiple changes. 
  • You’ll develop and manage comprehensive change management plans, assess the scope and scale of change, lead the co-design and delivery of effective change interventions, monitor change adoption, provide status reporting, support communications and training, and coach change sponsors and champions. 

 

About you 

We are seeking an experienced Change practitioner, who has likely worked in Change Manger capacity - either recently transitioning, or with up to 5 years experience within Change.  

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully embed change brought about by technology and business initiatives. 
  • APMG (Change Management Foundation/Practitioner) or human-centred design Change Management qualification (desirable). 
  • Experience in coaching and supporting business owners and sponsors. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of project methodologies and project life cycle. 
  • Experience in financial services or investment management (preferred). 
  • A humanistic and flexible team player approach. 
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels across the organisation and with external stakeholders. 
  • Experience working independently and on multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop appropriate recommendations. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
