The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced delivery-focused data professional to join our Data Technology team.
Data Technology is responsible for delivering trusted, well-understood and traceable investment data and platforms used across the organisation — including Investment teams, Investment Operations, Risk and Finance. The team builds and maintains high-quality tools that support investment decision-making and key productivity initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of business, data and technology. You will lead complex data and analytics initiatives end-to-end, translating business problems into clear, deliverable outcomes and working closely with architecture and engineering teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
What you’ll do
Lead end-to-end requirements and delivery for data and analytics initiatives, from discovery through to adoption
Create clarity around outcomes, scope, priorities and acceptance criteria, ensuring work is delivery-ready and traceable
Partner with architects and engineers to align solutions with target-state architecture and non-functional requirements
Own delivery hygiene including backlog management (Jira), dependencies, RAID and governance reporting
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to enable timely decisions and clear accountability
Champion continuous improvement, high-quality documentation and constructive ways of working
About you
You are comfortable operating in complex, data-rich environments and enjoy turning ambiguity into structured, actionable plans. You can engage credibly with both senior business leaders and technical specialists.
You will bring:
Strong experience leading requirements and delivery in data, analytics or platform environments
High technical literacy across data platforms, integrations and pipelines, with strong SQL capability
Experience with modern cloud data platforms and ETL/orchestration tooling
Experience working in agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
Strong process and data modelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in financial services or investment environments preferred
